Last May, Anne Simpson, Past Queen of Sphinx Temple No. 116 Daughters of the Nile and member of the Khartum Ladies’ Auxiliary, was honored to receive a very special letter from Gino Berretta, Chair, Board of Governors of the Montreal Shriners Hospital for Children. The letter stated that they were honored to present Anne with the 3rd Star Gold Book Society Award in thanks and appreciation for her continued support. Anne’s generous support allows the Montreal Hospital to continue to improve the lives of so many children, thus helping these young patients to realize their full potential. On Saturday, September 20th, 2014 at the Sphinx Temple No. 116, Daughters of the Nile Fashion Show Fundraiser, Past Potentate Illustrious Sir Jack Hooper recognized Anne with this presentation in honor of her longstanding support and invaluable generosity to the World’s Greatest Philanthropy – Shriners Hospitals for Children. Congratulations Anne and thank you for all you do!

A couple of reminders - our Annual dinner will be April 9th at the Shrine Centre. Contact one of the committee members for tickets or pick up your ticket at the next meeting. Also, the Annual Card Party will be held April 23rd at the Shrine Centre. Again, tickets will be available at the next meeting or you can contact any one of the Card Committee.
